Just gonna throw in that plenty of people don’t know how to back up through html and wouldn’t know where to begin. personally none of the tabs I had open were still retrievable, because I’d only be able to get a single chapter from several multi chapter fics I had open.

A large chunk of ao3’s user base is ND and don’t use it as an excuse to act like she has been, I straight up have generalized anxiety and was like “dude relax”. It looks like her post got either taken down or she deleted it

Yeah the idea that everything was good was super scary and that’s why I was so against jumping straight to the doomsday scenario when it hasn’t even been a full 24 since the shutdown.
