As a writer I say do it. It’s embarrassing having people you know reading your work but it’s also a confidence boost.

It’s a little awkward bc like they posted the fic before we were friends (i’m the same anon who met their fav fanfic author this year if you remember me) and I was genuinely insane over the fic and would leave 2-3 comments every single chapter so like 😭 Is this appropriate?!?/8/7 akshsjwjsksjennsmaa

you’re righttt but i also don’t wanna indirectly pressure them bc it’s an unfinished fic yknow sosjdjjdisuwhhwhs like personally i still believe it’s the best fic for the ship ever written even unfinished but what if it makes them feel bad (they did tell me they want to finish it one day BUT AGAIN idc how long it takes 😭🙏)
