I don’t think Steve would go heavier than hard rock, but he may listen to some hair bands from time to time (hence the Def Leppard, Poison, and Whitesnake). He definitely would have a more pop music taste than I do, (I’m more like Eddie lol), so sprinkle in some Michael Jackson and Madonna as needed
Okay so in metalhead culture, one can only place a patch or a pin on their battle jacket after they’ve seen them in concert. Based on Eddie’s jacket, we know his favorite band is Dio (because that’s the big patch on the back) and that he’s seen Judas Priest, Accept, Mercyful Fate, W.A.S.P., Iron Maiden, Motörhead, and Megadeth. That gives us (and someone pls correct me if I’m wrong) classic, thrash, punk, heavy, and hair/glam metal. Based on the bands on his vest, playing Puppetz, and (1/2)
My fav’s not previously listed: For Whom the Bell Tolls- Metallica (that’s a bass solo at the beginning, not guitar,) 2 Minutes to Midnight- Iron Maiden, Naked in the Rain (live at Donington ‘87) - Dio, Down for Life- Testament, Way Cool Jr- Ratt, No One Like You- Scorpions, Honestly- Stryper
So, that’s a good mix of metal songs for our dear ol Eddie boy. But, I must tell you a trade secret from a metalhead… There’s always at least one song or group that’s inexplicably NOT metal that we go feral for. Pick something out for him, like a guilty pleasure, that he would die of embarrassment if Steve or Dustin found out he liked
