NAAAAH THOSE ARE ANNOYING AS HELL!! I get them at least once or twice per fic I upload and sometimes they find their way to an extremely old fic on my account. It makes absolutely no sense how they think people will fall for these. “Can you pretty please pay ME to draw your fic. I know you didn’t ask. 🥺👉🏻👈🏻”

That’s horrible. I wish AO3 had a way to filter what can be commented on your posts. A filter you personally set of course. Sorta like how on Instagram you can go into settings and type in restricted phrases for your comment section. Like I have “DM this to” blocked on my Instagram comment sections to prevent the annoying bots from flooding my posts.
