Whats crazier too is AI was scraping from Ao3, so the work is super unoriginal for sure. 😭🙏 Writing is one of the easiest hobbies to pick up imo, this is pathetic. Im gonna be watching out for these tags now and reporting the work if I see them.

I agree in theory, I just am not sure how possible it is in practice. I do feel like mandatory tagging / can be tagged if like three people tag it as AI would be good? Or something like that. I recently read something that like a few chapters in I could tell was at least partially AI generated but all the comments were positive and it had lots of kudos (I then stopped reading it, but I also didn’t comment or anything). Wish it had been tagged so I didn’t

ai can’t grasp the complexities of human emotions or behavior. it’s literally disgusting to see because even if your writing isnt good, fandoms will support you!! like you do not need to be lazy! they’re literally in cognitive decline because they need ai to think and be creative for them
