So, any advice on how to like start writing… I have an idea for a fic but I don’t know where to start and I’ve never written a fic before

Take a sec to assess what’s easiest for you to write (dialogue, scene description, etc), then make a list of all the stuff you’re really excited to include in the story, then rotate these ideas in your head until you figure out how best to fit as many of the 2nd into the 1st as possible

Literally just barebones bulletpoint out that idea, and boom! That’s a bulletpt greentext/tumblr style fic. Any additional work you put in is entirely for your own artistic joy. It can be a oneshot with no explanation, you can come back to it and world build, whatever your heart desires!! But the best way to start is unfortunately to just start. You can’t figure out what you want to dive deeper into if you never do it at all…
