I will admit that I also read a lot of m/m but i would never say that other fics aren’t as good. Like there are some terribly written m/m fics. And some of the best fics I’ve read are gen fics. My favorite fic is a gen fic! I think that limiting stories solely based on pairing is just bad as a reader. You miss out on so many good experiences.

please read some good gen fic or F/F (and being so fr F/F has some amazingly done fics as do ones where a romantic pairing is not the main focus) or even M/F or some poly ship just like expand your horizons some because there are fics in all categories that’ll hit hard especially narratively
