Nah I disagree. I think (if done well and not frequently) it can build the tension sooo much more

There's a fanfic I read a few years ago that each chapter switched between the two love interests but that was because they were both writing in a personal journal/ diary and it did a really good job of telling the story through these journal entries. But had it not been a story told through those entries and it was just switching back and forth every chapter, I don't know if I would have been able to handle it. So I guess as long as the POV switch is done well, I'm fine with it

No you’re definitely not the only one. Sometimes it’s done poorly but I think it’s important to hear the true inner thoughts of the love interest because it’s often different then what the MC THINKS their love interest is thinking. #1 said this basically but yeah

if it randomly switches i don’t like it, but it’s consistently switching POVs each chapter and it’s retelling the same timeline from the other POV i like it

I like getting little snapshots from the love interests pov but not full chapters. Just a lingering glance of their evolving feelings without it being outright stated
