You know it’s funny because I think my answer is yes but I didn’t do it consciously 😭 like I just lost interest in fics with younger characters and didn’t really think about why

Not entirely, but I gravitate more towards older ships now. I read almost entirely fluff fics though so it’s a little less weird for me all around

There’s one fandom I’m in that regularly ages up the characters and that’s how I was able to stay in it for so long (they put them in college or even older if it fits the story better)

sorta depends, like if the story is very dependent on them being in middle or high school ive kinda lost interest (like if i didn’t watch doukyuusei (?) in hs i don’t think id have liked it, and a lot of other BLs set in hs don’t interest me anymore) but if the setting is less important in setting tone and more abt character work or smth else (like deltarune and haikyuu, where their age does matter but like there’s a lot more going on than just they’re in school) then i’ll still ship
