I feel like long fics are rarer but that could just be the ships and fandoms I’m interested in changing

(cont.) just WAYYYY harder to find a fanfic i can actually swallow myself in and feel indulged. everything just feels dry and bland and disconnected even if the writing is serviceable.

i think this is one of the problems i’m facing too. a lot of fics in some of the fandoms i enjoy are one shots or tend to be shorter. but the long ones are hit and miss (with more leaning toward being the latter sadly)
