There’s really no bar for ‘making it’ with fanfiction in the same way there is for an artistic profession. Do it. Maybe no one will read it, but that doesn’t make it less valuable. It’s expression and creativity. You will make someone happy with its existence, and even if not, the act of creation is a worthy pursuit in itself. Let yourself play in this sandbox
