OP, I leave comments for two reasons 1. To show the author I appreciate the work and why 2. To engage with them more (aka hope to get a response) Don’t be afraid to respond to us!

I get it as an author too but as a reader I LOVE getting long ass replies like that shit makes me squeal and kick my feet
