Ohhh why would that be an issue? I had a friend who printed out fics all the time on like full sheets of paper and would separate them by chapter. And every day she’d give me a chapter. And that’s how I was able to read fanfic in middle school.

if you’re book binding for personal use, that’s ok. what authors don’t want is you book binding their works for a PROFIT. not only is it stealing from creators, but you’re profiting off of a copyright, which goes against the entire philosophy that keeps fanfic spaces safe online, and puts sites like ao3 at risk of being taken down.
