If I could change one non-fully-timeline-altering event in this decade, it would be that Heatwaves never blew up or never existed at all. Dreamland had some good songs but overall was okay, but the success got to their heads and all their new stuff is dogshit, and most OG fans agree. We’ll never see something as unique as ZABA or How To Be A Human Being from them ever again, it’s all radio pop now. 🥲
