like my sister and i split it to make it fair, but it still sucks and the holidays just aren’t how they used to be anymore

I am so sorry!! I can’t imagine how that feels. My parents have been divorced since I was little but one thing that helped was that my dad would come over to my moms house and the three of us would have our own Christmas even though they were divorced. I wonder if that’s something you could try

I feel you this is my exact experience. It lowk makes me dread the holidays

it’s hard but establishing new traditions helps in the long run. it’s always christmas eve as dads christmas and christmas day as my moms for me and my sisters :)
