Growing up I thought it was normal that my mom was bigger after having four kids until I noticed skinnier moms having more kids. And then my mom pushed all her body insecurities to her daughters and makes us feel self conscious

It’s beyond fucked that she pushed her body insecurities on y’all (try some therapy, it helped me when my mother did this) but it IS normal to gain weight and have body changes after children. Please do not perpetuate the stigma a male-gaze centered society pushes on us.

insecurity is the weapon and the symptom, but body changes after birth are 100% normal and weight gain isn’t the boogeyman. what #1 said 100%.

No I know that it’s very normal now, she just acted like she was a victim because of it

Idk either because some women’s bodies just bounce back while others birth leaves permanent damage.
