No cause this conversation needs to be had for most professions. I’m a second year undergraduate student studying art education with a minor in sociology and if I can I’d like to get my masters later on. I take my education very seriously, way more seriously than most ppl in my family did their own, but bc I’m an art student my parents think all I do is glue cotton balls and sand foamboard (two specific things they saw me do) 1/2
Meanwhile they didn’t see the hours I spent working on my drawings, hours that went into all of my design projects, hours spent studying for art history and psychology and writing for my other history class. Like just because my major has the word “art” in the title doesn’t make it any less valuable. Ok rant over 😅
Prelaw is such a pointless major. Law schools do not give a rat’s behind what your major was. Your GPA and LSAT score are just about all that matter, so you might as well major in someone you’re good at or interested in. You can always take the LSAT and go on to law school, but you will probably only be an undergrad once.
