I hate when they do that!!! I kept having chest pains and really strong heart palpitations. I told my grandparents, and they said I was wayyyy too young to be having those kinds of problems and it’s probably just nothing. They kept dismissing it. A few tests later showed I was experiencing acute heart failure, yes, even at the age of 20

Being called an old lady or being asked why I hurt isn’t even as offensive as being told Im too young to hurt. Like did you never fucking feel pain at my age? I don’t fucking think so.

So glad you went and got tested. My mom is kind of holding out on me getting tested for anything currently. I deal with chronic pain, and other symptoms of other undiagnosed things. Im at an age where POTS can start to develop and while I have good evidence of having it, my family invalidates because “Im too young”. Like, no? This is the age where it usually starts developing and I have this entire list of shit. If theyre going to comment they should at least educate themselves
