Peace and love the first couple of months are just infatuation and like lust at least for me- you can’t know it’s something more that the initial excitement and that it’s full on love until death for a hot ass minute. I’m a Christian as well and I’ve known two women from my church who rushed into marriage after a few months of dating and they both ended in divorce. The one guy pretended to be a “changed” Christian talking about how God saved him from his heroin addiction. This girl married him and it turned out he was using heroin the whole time and became abusive. Same thing happened with the other woman (he wasn’t an addict he just became abusive after they got married).

I get the impression that Christian people especially that are waiting till marriage are so quick to get married because they want to have sex but they don’t actually know the person that well.
