Yes but also my mom would tell me she wants me to be and do better than her and then I make a mistake and have a breakdown and she’s like “why do you feel the need to be perfect and achieve so much chill out”

I am Asian 😭 my parents still tell me to this day that I’m not doing enough even tho I’m overachieving compared to everyone else’s standards
