No that’s so real. I have a similar situation but instead or parents it’s my grandparents and aunts and cousins and little brother. I do not feel like that’s my house anymore. Because there’s no space for me. I feel like a guest every time I go there (which isn’t often)

My parents aren’t split (but should be) and I feel the same way. I had to flat out tell my mom what I felt and honestly it’s been better…she doesn’t pressure me into family events like she used to and she lets me leave whenever I want to when I do attend
