I tore a muscle in my thigh and I was too afraid to tell my parents because I thought I would get in trouble, I was 12

Grew up with two parents, they had a good income, nice house. But I was still groomed, assaulted, and abused (not by my parents thankfully) Nothing is as it seems imo

not op but i was similar. grew up upper middle class with an abusive dad. it’s extremely hard for me to feel emotional (at least when i’m talking in english) because of this.

I survived torture, sexual abuse by friends, and an abusive mom. I was able to go to private school so everything seemed great.
