He choked up a bit but still couldn’t bring himself to say he’s sorry, only that he’s sorry I feel like that. It’s not how I feel it’s just the truth. neither of his ex wives or any of his kids want to be around him and now he mopes about it as he ages. Boo-fuckin-hoo.

Explained he’s always been borderline abusive and I’ll respect him as a father but he should have no expectation for me to be his friend or to have enjoyed spending time with him while growing up. Yes I turned out OK and still visit 2/3 times a year but I have no interest in him as a person due to how he treated my mother, my siblings, and I. He’s never apologized and I’ll tolerate him around the holidays for family sake, but it ends there.
