As a Brit who is in America for college i think we have to nuke the Las Vegas, Grand Prix, and the Miami Grand Prix off the calendar and just keep COTA in austin, it’s honestly one of the best races on the calendar

for what?? people want “historic tracks with good racing” and spa is good for both, suzuka just needs smaller cars to get better racing again

Spa has maybe done one decent race this decade and maybe two the last decade. Hell stretch it even more and you can say there’s been five good races there this century there and most of the races were pre-2008. Spa is a bad track for the current formula cars and since it seems f1 is standing in with these boat cars, I’m not sure Suzuka should be on the calendar either. Maybe replace it with Fuji since it was hard breaking zones

good take tbh except for the size as we’re getting new regs next year and from what i’ve gathered so far the cars are closer in size to the last v8 cars than what we’ve had with the 2022 regs so i guess we’ll have to see how that plays out for racing
