Most f1 fans are so brain dead when it comes to why they use batteries in the car instead of a v10, it’s not about about the pollution from the car itself it forces the manufacturers to spend hella money on developing new hybrid systems that trickle down

Some f1 fans are so braindead that they don’t understand how f1 cars use both batteries and fuel (speaking from experience)

to then be used on road cars it’s not a hard concept to understand and the next reg changes will use probably use biofuel for v10s anyways so people can stop crying about it .

It’s more than that honestly, it’s because manufacturers have said they’d pull out of F1 if they get rid of the hybrids. Mercedes, Honda, and Alpine have pushed for hybrids and have said they’d pull out of the sport if hybrids were to be gone. If that were to happens, the sport would be in trouble due to lack of engine manufacturers so of course the fía gives in to their demands
