I think it’s a mix of both, the McLaren should of been more aware of it’s surroundings but the Mercedes took the corner way too wide and was taking up the racing line

Is this online or an AI race? To me it looks like the McLaren purposefully blocked the Merc. Not sure what the Merc’s chances at overtaking in that scenario were but the McLaren wasn’t having it.

Mercedes, is at fault. McLaren had the corner since his front axels were ahead of the Mercedes. That was the general rule form 25. Although I can’t tell from the begging who was ahead or not going into the corner.
