It’s tricky for Pirelli. They want to show that their tires are robust and can hold up against the extremes of f1. If the tires die after 20 laps it makes pirelli look like they can’t make tires that last

It’s not about Kimi. We saw in Monaco last year everyone put on hards and did the entire race without stopping. The tires just don’t have that cliff they used to and it’s made strategy and races more boring

I get that, it’s a bad look for pirelli to have tires that explode or are unpredictable past a certain point, but that’s what racing is. it’s just boring to see easy 1 stop races where nobody seems to struggle or falls off a cliff. Tbf, it’s been a bit better this year with the 2 stops but races seem less on strategy now and more on pure pace (which ig also isn’t that bad that’s also racing)
