Is it “open” or is it vertical like a sail during the turns? (/srs I haven’t seen a lap of theirs during practice yet and they’re 2 and 3 rn)

Just hoping leclerc and Hamilton can find a way to manage when they near turns. I honestly think it could end up being an advantage. Leclercs doing fine on it so far …

so you know how to flips and rolls back? it basically has two opening periods, full open, and open on the way to open. that’s when it’s open on turns if they don’t close it faster

Ahh, I suspect somewhere in the calculations they’ve figured that it’s vertical 90° state does enough to their velocity going into the corner that they need less downforce at least in that first section of the corner than they otherwise would? But if that’s not something they’ve accounted for I couldn’t tell you what it is
