also this raises up another concern regarding f1 journalism. i’ve seen a lot of people complain that the questions interviewers ask are boring and repetitive, but how will they be encouraged to ask actually good, thought provoking questions when this is the response they’ll be met with? so all their questions will be careful not to offend the drivers and will coddle them instead. yes, there needs to be a mix of professionalism, but i don’t think what the guy did was out of line
