
IMO no. Max has fresh engine and everything and it was a dry race so he could overtake the slower teams easier via DRS not to mention he had a some luck with the puncture that got him off the awful hard tire. . Last year though, he had to fight with no DRS, dangerous conditions, no mistakes, and expanded the lead significantly while others were struggling
I definitely see where you’re coming from however I feel like those dangerous conditions which I assume you mean the heavy rain from last year only helped Max. Max is great in the rain. Unless I’m misremembering something there was one more restart last year than there was this year. He started behind two rookies who to be fair he also started behind this year however they’re more experienced now than they were last year. Both were incredible drives and probably the most fun it is to watch max
