i have oily hair so i use a clarifying shampoo every other wash and then a hydrating shampoo after and 2x on the days between (so two washes each shower) and then use a nice conditioner as a leave in/like a styling gel and my hair has never felt better

and i used to have a lot of products (still figuring out how to get rid of them) but it really is just finding a simple routine that works for you and not 20 “miracle products”

a lot of things can. some chemicals can relax your curls, others just weigh them down and destroy their natural curl pattern, etc.

not taking care of curls properly (different for everyone) can absolutely lead to you losing definition in them!! there’s a lot of ppl w “wavy” or “straight” hair who actually have curly hair but haven’t taken care of their curls so they have no definition. not everyone but a lot of ppl i’ve seen so curl care is important 🫶 also depends on curl pattern/texture
