It was honestly so heartbreaking, I loved watching them return. I could see them from my house and they got their fish in a lake behind my house. All day I would hear them. I even named them Sammy and Sam lol. They’ve been there since my childhood so I don’t understand why they all the sudden had a problem.

Maybe they were damaging the wires somehow? But quite honestly it’s entirely possible it was for a stupid aesthetic reason. HOA complaint type shit or maybe the police themselves just didn’t like them for some stupid reason. Either way I’m sorry :(
