Golf courses use an incredible amount of water and land, while polluting the area with pesticides.

Yeah while AI does use a lot of water and isn’t great for the environment as it stands now golf courses are much worse. They waste so much more water and the pesticides destroy the surrounding environments & there’s even been studies that show a higher percentage of people with Parkinson’s disease surrounding golf courses. And not to mention all the destroyed habitats to make said courses.

To add to the others, many golf courses are built near the ocean as well and the fertilizers they use often cause red tide which kills lots of marine life and makes it very dangerous for people and animals to be near the ocean.

Yes absolutely! I’m from Long Island and there is a significant amount of golf courses right on the bay or sound. Our coastal ecosystems are extremely rich and diverse as well it’s so disappointing.
