This little fella just sat there for an hour! (Western Hognose, Heterodon nasicus) Hognoses are (mildly) venomous, primarily eat toads, and are rear fanged! They deliver venom via a grooved tooth in the rear of their mouth, and chew to envenomate.

They’re the greatest! I have two as pets! (Both captive bred) one is super sassy and the other is just chill but occasionally tries to eat people. 🤷🏼‍♀️

It does!! They are roughly equated to bee stings on a pain scale (like everything else lol) but it is only known to cause swelling and redness upon envenomation unless allergic!
