duckduckgo makes it easy to turn AI off and you can report AI images that pop up in search results

You can turn it off for ecosia I’ve heard but I don’t use it.

I used ecosia but couldn’t figure out how to turn off all the extra AI. DuckDuckGo has been better for me so far

not if you use it in private windows :/ it doesn’t save any settings. usually that’s how i search cause i hate having my data collected 24/7 by every website i go to. i feel like at the very least it should be opt in. like know your audience

the websites still collect your data in private mode, the way to throw them off is with a VPN

And even then that doesn’t stop them tracking other things 😔 I’ve tried my best to fiddle with my browser as much as I can to block tracking but after a certain point its not possible and/or so difficult it’s not worth it
