I don’t know what is wrong with my milkweed either the caterpillar die or the monarch is born with broken wings

If it was grown with pesticides it’s possible that it seeped into the plant itself and the caterpillars ingest some of it. If you bought it from Lowe’s/Home Depot it probably came from somewhere that used pesticides unfortunately

I had this plant for years and planted it to begin with it is tropical and was wondering should I just kill the plant

yeah tropical milkweed is a no-no because it’s non-native and can carry a parasite that infects monarchs :( probably the issue here
