
Yes! There are temperate rainforests (chilly rainforests) in the Pacific Northwest (Alaska, Oregon, Washington, California, and small parts of Idaho and Montana) and in the southern Appalachians (especially around the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee and North Carolina). We usually think of tropical rainforests (which are found in Hawaii and several U.S. territories), but if temperate areas get enough rainfall, they can be rainforests too.
