Does anyone know if it’s better (for the ground) to walk on one nature path in the same area/side or switch it up?

it would probably be highly dependent on the geology of the habitat. sand dunes? probably alternate some paths to prevent major erosion from the area, but avoid disturbing all areas with established plant growth. limestone? probably fine for a few years on the same path until some major weathering on the rock happens.

i’d say ask either peers or faculty in geology or the earth & atmospheric sciences.

Ah that’s interesting but the ground I’m talking about is (mainly) grass, do you know about that? (Im not sure if it planted or native but it’s sorta between a forest and a grassland/prairie)
