Maybe try to stay in one place and localize the problem? Ik that doesn't work morally but at least most of the world will remain old growth

Think about it like forest management! There also needs to be early successional forests too! If the whole world is a monoculture age wise, things start getting really really bad for animals and species that love other types of forest!
