I made sure to interact with them as little as possible and the Tupperware container is translucent and you can just barely see through it

Take him out at least 1/4 mile from his home range (your house) and set him free. Fingers crossed he lands on his feet, finds a stable job, and moves into a cozy new apartment in the new city
