There’s actually something like that, even quicker, it’s called a UVC lightbulb, it destroys DNA FAST, I wish it was more mainstream but it’s probably due to misuse risks.

It is hell of a lot more efficient than the energy needed to produce those plastic containers of industrial cleaning chemicals
