Feels a bit harsh in how it was put but I completely agree with the message. Companies should be held responsible for the environmental damage they cause. Not assume the consumer assumes responsibility for it.

I don’t think it was harsh given the absurdity of the statement. The mentality that we as the consumers are at fault is what prevents people from taking action against those actually responsible. The moralist blame game and virtue signaling around how much of an environmentalist we are keeps us complacent.
