“an animal is either a boy or a girl” right so explain this, quickly now. or hermaphroditism in fish. like go on please explain how everything is either only a girl or a boy and can’t change what they are. please go on.

this is just a pic off of google (i looked up chimera cardinal but the other comment has the actual name), it happens in a few different ways in birds, and isn’t all too uncommon! there’s a good bit of understanding on it and a lot of sightings of birds like it, it’s so interesting!
