It really is fucked honestly, i feel like we are in the same boat as teachers honestly except no one even knows our profession/industry exists. Like no law makers advocate for us and most adults aren’t even aware that environmental laws and regulations exist and the work we do is actually insanely important to the functioning of our society but we got degrees worth 50k-80k have to take all the hard ass stem classes like ochem, physics, and calc but the jobs are paying 22-25$ an hour.

Like we ain’t just out here planting fuckin flowers were remediating toxic pollutants and restoring the soil we grow our food in, the water we drink and the air we breathe and we get shat on for it.

Righttt its such an important field, soo underrated and its so fun too and its all just wild, then i see people graduate and hear they make $150k and im just so jealous
