UNC Asheville has a masters very similar to these topics. I can’t remember the name of it specifically but I looked at it recently.

You could see if they have any teaching assistant positions or research aids to help with cost of attending. Don’t pay for a masters if you can get it covered otherwise. But I do know with the current government shut down nonsense a lot of funding has been pulled for those types of programs

Norway is a really amazing place for environmental science especially marine biology but Norway’s education systems are incredibly cheap.

cheap even for foreigners? it’s gotta be competitive in that case, right?

Most foreign schools are still cheaper than US schools. However they don’t do a masters or PhD program like in the US. So the transferring of credits can be difficult.

Yes! Norwegian citizens actually get free schooling and international students don’t pay much especially compared to American schools. But #3 is right, credits and all that can be fishy but Norway is my plan so ive found what will work for me. And yeah you’d think so but it’s not that competitive because it’s not really known or sought after yet.
