Use the transit app. It tells you all the potential routes, how to pay if there’s a fare, and gives you live updates.

What are your biggest concerns? Everywhere is a little different but I have ridden public transit on 5 continents, dozens of countries and have lived car free since ‘21

I def recommend getting an app like Umo or similar so you can easily see bus routes and stop info (if busses are a good option for you). I have Umo and it’s usually pretty accurate at predicting bus arrival times even when delays happen.
