This weekend in MN we had awful air quality cause of it😭 Apparently the fires this year are the same exact fires from last year. *they never put last years fires out and they just burned all winter under the ground*. Apparently it got into the peat.

Yea I heard it from my mom so idk if it’s 100% true. But yea☹️ I wonder how much of this is climate change and how much is poor forest management by Canada. Idk if it’s fair to blame them or not😔 I would think they would do better than us in this regard😭

its climate change. blame the country all you want but no nation can ever be prepared for the damage climate change is going to do.

Yea you’re right😔 The ground should’ve frozen over the winter

California had multiple opportunities to decrease the amount of destructive wildfires they experience and fucked it up every time

In Alaska you’ll be digging line and all the sudden a tree 200 yards behind you falls and bursts into flames because the fire is in the ground. High latitude fires are crazy and such a pain in the ass.

They still fuck it up so badly. The air quality boards are my number one opp. We can’t burn during the narrow window we have to safely do controlled burns because of these assholes. Biggest annoyance is that we are DOWNWIND of the area that the board represents.
