What things that people do in their everyday lives have the most environmental impact so that you can reduce them as much as possible to have as little negative impact as possible?

1. research what you can actually recycle, not what you think you can. Here’s a few examples of things I didn’t always know weren’t recyclable: - receipts - cardboard that has been frozen - pizza boxes

2. REUSE STUFF!!! Here’s a few ideas: Plastic bags - useful for cleaning cat/dog poop, recently bought goods you don’t wanna hold, keep in your car for car sick riders Wrappers, scrap paper, plastic lids, etc. - great for collages, junk journals, or other art projects cardboard drink holder - i like to keep one in my car so that I don’t need to ask for another one if I ever have a lot of drinks and not enough cup holders

3. Other sustainable habits: - turn off the shower when you’re scrubbing your hair, shaving, applying soap to already wet skin. Reserve running water for rinsing yourself off - bring your own cup to coffee shops or any other place that will fill your own cup for you. Some places may even offer you a discount! - avoid excessive purchase of clothing. treat your clothes as ongoing projects; if you own them, you repair them until you can’t. - Thrift clothes, and buy secondhand
