Hey Dungeoners and/or Dragoners. It’s been a little while since we’ve gotten a post like this, so tell me about your favorite character (or NPC if you’re a GM)

His name is Lutgrey, he is a completely trust worthy individual who is not chaotic, evil, or French. He’s the nicest Tiefling you’ll ever meet and is not a liar or manipulator or anything of the sort. He is in charge of the happiest country in the world and is not the BBEG for my campaign. He has no connection to any librarians, or Tiamat, or a Global Occult of Chaos. Finally, he had no part in the events of 9/11 😃

Currently running the Crooked Moon, so many great NPCs but the best is definitely the Vagrant. Darling little frogman that plays the fiddle and conducts the train 🐸

My favorite NPC right now is either an enemy soldier named Douglas the players have kidnapped and are trying (and failing) to rehabilitate, or an extremely powerful and plot relevant being named Dim who the players are freaking out about over trying to figure out his deal

Okay so I forgot to come back, I’m here now! My favorite character is a dwarf named Daruk Ironvein, he’s in the current campaign I’m playing in! He’s a blacksmith, particularly an armor smith due to her hatred for senseless violence. He’s was a soldier over a hundred years ago, a crusader or “Verdict Bringer” for Clangeddin Silverbeard. One day, after killing a young boy, one who had lied about his age to become a soldier, in a holy invasion of another territory, he swore himself from violence

We have a goblin named Gribbs that we kind of forcefully adopted from a cave system that we were exploring. This goblin was so stupid and we love him dearly so we spared him because he was extremely awkward and didn’t try to attack us (unlike the rest of them). I have never seen a creature with lower rolls for anything. Quite literally wouldn’t survive a minute without us. We sometimes put him in air jail and duck tape him to the Paladin’s shield while it’s on their back for transport.

An NPC me and my players love so much I commissioned artwork for him. My players were for some reason super interested in the driver of Strahd’s black carriage and it led to my boy Corvin and his beloved horse Sheryl being available for my players to hire to drive them around. He’s a dullahan who has stapled his head to his neck, who was a former Barovian rebel against Strahd before he was turned into a cursed coachman, driving whoever manages to pay his fees.

Indeed, my friend. Just a normal guy with a normal not evil life 🩵 No one could ever hate him, especially since he had nothing to do with the events involving any Books. He doesn’t even read

He can’t read, he’s simply too busy donating to charities and not building online armies to assault strangers to learn.

- and devoted himself to Moradin. He spent a century in a psuedo penance, working for the people of his Hold until the events of the campaign began. Now he’s swept up in the middle of a violent and bloody revolution, his path paved with the deaths of hundreds, if not thousands, of people killed just to get to him. He’s the face of the revolution but he doesn’t want to be. He’s just wants to go home and stop all this carnage.
