I love TPK one shots. I usually set them in the realm the campaign is in with my existing group to set the stakes and show the group some of the powerful things in the world. I’ve been DMing for 7 years at this point so if you want some tips let me know.

they’re gonna be in a town next to a huge lake and people will mysteriously go missing because they walk into the lake to feel comfort
